Samsung has announced a number of upgrades for its mobile payment service, Pay, along with confirming a few expansions that’ll occur this year. The platform will work with Mastercard’s Masterpass, meaning you can use Pay for more online purchases. Support for in-app purchases is arriving in the US next month.
A “Deals” feature has also been unveiled and it’ll find discounts/coupons from nearby stores and restaurants.
As for expansions, Samsung Pay is headed to Malaysia, Russia, and Thailand by the end of 2016. Once it is live in those countries, Pay will be operational in 10 markets.
