Joining Dish’s Sling TV, Sony’s Playstation Vue and whatever Apple might be working on, Samsung is reportedly in talks with entertainment companies to develop its own Internet-based TV service, according to Bloomberg.
Said to still be in its early stages, the electronics giant is discussing with TV networks pricing for a bundle of stations that would be available for streaming. The Bloomberg story also notes that Samsung looking into potentially offering a channel package globally and not just for the US only.
Samsung didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
