The other day we showed you live images that allegedly revealed the eagerly awaited Xiaomi Mi Note 2. But those images failed to show the dual-curved edge screen that was seen in previous renders, and listed in rumored specs of the device. Due to the high-end specs that the phablet will sport, there is a lot of attention on this model. Add to that a surprise promised by CEO Lei Jun, and expectations are high.
Today, a couple of renders claiming to be the Mi Note 2 have surfaced, this time showing the dual-curved edge screen. These renders also show the dual-camera setup on the back of the handset. The twin cameras could weigh in at 12MP each. We also could see a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of flash storage. The Snapdragon 821 chipset is expected under the hood, with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. A 4000mAh battery keeps the lights on.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro should come with a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. 6GB of RAM is said to be inside along with 128GB of internal memory.
As we told you yesterday, an invitation from Xiaomi confirmed the previously rumored October 25th unveiling for the Mi Note 2, and possibly the Mi Note 2 Pro. That is exactly a week from today. That means that more leaks should be disseminated the closer we get to the 25th of this month. Feel free to check in often for the latest on the Mi Note 2.
