The PlayStation 4 Plus comes with an upgraded “share” ability that lets you capture and send higher quality screenshots and videos. Sony says the console can capture 4K screenshots and 1080p video, though the video remains limited to 30 fps. Video broadcasting, remote play, and share play will work at up to 1080p and 60 fps.
Depending on the service you’re using, the broadcasting/streaming specs will change. On YouTube/Dailymotion, you’ll have 1080p streaming at 60 fps. On Twitch, the streaming is capped at 1080p and 30 fps.
Sony will release the console in November for $400.
