Users of Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Note 5 in Australia on Optus network might need to wait for some more time to be able to taste the sweetness of Nougat. The carrier has updated its software support page to reveal that the Nougat testing for these four Galaxy devices has been delayed citing technical issues.
The carrier, however, did not specify in details what issues have caused it to further push back the Nougat test on Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Note 5. But this obviously means that the waiting period has been extended for those expecting to see their devices updated to the new software.
Early this month the Australian carrier had revealed via the same software support page that the testing for the Nougat update of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge has commenced. But the same has been halted and no time-frame has been mentioned to re-start the Nougat test.
It is important to mention that the unlocked variant of the four mentioned devices have been updated to Nougat already. Similarly, the US carriers have also bumped up the software of Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ as well Note 5.
