There won’t be any delays in receiving the Nintendo Switch as a result of supply issues, says Reggie Fils-Aime, chief of Nintendo US. Nintendo doesn’t want there to be supply shortages and it’s working hard to make sure there aren’t any.
Fils-Aime says two million Switch units will be available during the first few weeks. Nintendo believes that’ll adequately meet the initial demand and avoid any supply problems.
Concerns about shortages grew after some preorder configurations sold out. Plus, the NES Classic encountered a shortage late last year. Though Nintendo wouldn’t be expected to treat the NES Classic the same as its new primary console.
