Meizu has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone in the M series at a launch event in Beijing. The Meizu M6s (aka Blue Charm S6s) is the first FullScreen smartphone from the Chinese brand and also the first smartphone ever to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7872 Hexa-Core SoC with LTE Cat. 7 support.
The Meizu M6s sports a metal body build, 5.7-inch Edge-to-Edge display with 18:9 Aspect ratio and 2.5D glass, rear 16MP camera with dual-tone LED flash, 8MP selfie camera with facial enhncement and a 3,000mAh battery with 18W Fast charging (0 to 30% in just 15 mins).
The M6s also features Meizu’s One Mind AI engine, super mBack fingerprint scanner on the right side and a virtual Halo button below the display that performs mBack actions. It boots FlymeOS 6.2 (based on Android Nougat) and comes in two RAM + Storage options: 3GB + 32GB (CNY 999; US$ 156) and 3GB + 64GB (CNY 1,199; US$ 187). Meizu also launched the Live and Flow Bass earphones.
