Apple is still on track to introduce a new MacBook Pro model this month and begin shipping the device by the end of October, reports Mac Otakara (Japan). Based on information from a Chinese supplier, it appears Apple will offer 13 and 15-inch models of the new Pro.
Those units will come with USB-C, as will a new 13-inch MacBook Air that is also set to be announced. Many reports have claimed the Pro features Touch ID and includes an OLED touch panel in place of its usual physical function keys. Apple has reportedly made the MacBook Pro thinner with a flatter keyboard.
Mac Otakara isn’t the only source that has pointed to an October launch, so we should expect to see the devices soon.
