Samsung was the first company that released a smartphone with a curved OLED display and is still dominating that segment, but another South Korean company is about to join the battle. LG has now released more information about the upcoming premium LG V30 smartphone, and one of the key features will be curved OLED Infinity Vision display.
The phone will pack P-OLED display, meaning the base for the OLED panel is a plastic substrate rather than fragile glass. Despite the bigger screen, the upper and lower bezels have been reduced by 20 and 50 percent, and the LG logo has been moved to the back panel. The display will also have the same QHD+ 1,440 x 2,880 pixels resolution that was on the LG G6 and will support HDR10 playback.
