It is obvious that batteries are very sensitive and if we charge them too fast, they can explode. Every new smartphone comes with some sort of quick-charging technology and some of them even support wireless charging, but there is quite a big gap between standard and wireless chargers.
LG has now unveiled its new wireless charger that provides 15W of power for your devices. For comparison, that is more than 2x more than most wireless chargers. The company promises to charge your device up to 50% in 30 minutes, which is on par with other quick-chargers. Since we all heard about the Galaxy Note 7 issues, the Quick Wireless Charging Pad has also built-in thermal safety switch, so if your phone starts heating up during charging, it will shut off.
