As we get closer the mobile world conference to be held at the end of February in Barcelona there are many rumors about new smartphones to be unveiled at the event.
Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and the LG G5 have made it on the rumor mills about smartphones set for the MWC stage. The New HTC, which succeeds the One M9, has been noticeably absent from the rumored new product unveilings.
After trying to find out why the HTC One M10 would not be making it to the MWC, it emerged that the Taiwanese company had opted to return a few prototypes to be redesigned.
This can only mean we should expect this new phone to be special, so special that it is expected to have some revolutionary features like a fingerprint scanner, Qualcomm’s snapdragon 820 processor, a 3,000mAh battery and a 23MP rear camera. This will be the first HTC phone to be IP68 certified water and dust resistant.
HTC will still launch the One M10 at a special function in March and the phone is expected to be available in April 2016. Unfortunately, until the MWC actually takes place or until HTC releases an official statement about this, we can only take it as a rumor and hearsay.
