Huawei has unveiled its own portable 360-degree camera that can be attached to smartphones. The Honor VR Camera was created through a partnership with Insta360. Huawei will launch the product internationally, but other details haven’t been shared.
It includes support for live-streaming and “3K photography.”
Huawei hasn’t expanded on which phones will work with the device, so it’s possible support could be limited to the company’s own smartphones.
More information could be shared in the coming days during MWC 2017.
The camera will compete against the Samsung Gear 360, which comes in at $350.
