Huawei Honor X3 Passes TENAA, Sports Fingerprint Sensor On The Side

Before Mobile World Congress 2016, a lot of rumors were doing the rounds on the internet that Huawei will unveil an upgraded version of Honor X2 that will go by the name of Honor X3. But it did not happen back then and the tablet has now passed through TENAA.

The most intriguing thing about this tab is that boasts of a large 7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset clocking 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB RAM along with 16GB of inbuilt storage.

Another highlight of this tablet is that it comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the side just below the power button and not on the front or the back which has been the norm among the current crop of smartphones.

Honor X3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It features 13MP and 5MP rear and front cameras. A 4230mAh battery under the shell is providing juice to the device.

Rumors also suggest that this could be the basic model of Honor X3 and a high-end model with better specifications is coming too. The high-end model of Honor X3 is purported to feature a 7-inch 2K display powered by Kirin 950 chipset along with 4GB of RAM. The battery on this model is expected to be of 5000mAh.

As for the price of Honor X3, the basic model is expected to carry a price tag of 1999 Yuan ($309) and the high-end model around 2499 Yuan ($387).
