After leaked system files confirmed that HTC is the manufacturer of upcoming Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, another leak has finally detailed the smartphones. Initially, there Google was preparing three devices, codenamed Walleye, Muskie, and Taimen, but it is believed that the Muskie has been canceled, leaving only Walleye and Taimen.
Now, XDA Developers revealed possible information on the two Pixel 2 phones. The Pixel 2 (Walleye) packs a 5-inch 1080p with similar side bezels as the current Pixels, a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone will also ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The larger model features a 6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels storage, but with smaller bezels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 835, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. None of the models will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
