Apple’s line of wireless routers isn’t going to receive a new entry, according to Bloomberg. The company has reportedly been shutting down its internet networking division over the past year. That division worked on the AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and AirPort Time Capsule.
Those routers are still being sold on the Apple website, but they were taken out of its retail stores months ago.
Engineers from the networking division are said to be joining teams dedicated to different projects.
If this report is accurate, it doesn’t appear Apple fans should expect another router from the company.
