Apple Releases iOS 10.3.3, Fixes Serious Broadcom Security Vulnerability

Apple has just announced that it has started rolling out the iOS 10.3.3 update for compatible iPad and iPhone devices. The new update brings various tweaks and bug fixes, and while many smaller glitches still remain, it fixes a serious Broadcom security vulnerability.

The vulnerability can be triggered remotely without user’s interaction and can be used to execute full code on the main application processor. The bad news is that this is expected to be the final release of iOS 10, before iOS 11 debuts, meaning many bugs will remain for those that won’t be able to update to newer iOS.
