Following dozens of reports by users, Apple has decided to investigate the alleged glitch in Lightning EarPods, which turns out to be true. The company has confirmed the issue and is currently working on a software fix that should be released in the coming days.
The software glitch causes the volume controls to stop working after a few minutes. The music will continue to play, but users are unable to use the controls, meaning you can’t answer calls, adjust the volume or control music playback via the remote. We’ll let you know once the update is available.
